LBi recently attended the 2022 Major League Baseball Winter Meetings from December 4th through December 7th at the San Diego Marriot Marquis. The four-day event held every December gives attendees the opportunity to discuss MLB business, as well as offseason trades and transactions.

LBi Software is no stranger to the Winter Meetings, once again successfully supporting the Rule 5 Player Draft after last year's hiatus. The Rule 5 Draft allows clubs without a full 40-man roster to select certain non-40-man roster players from other clubs and is held each December at the Winter Meetings.

LBi was also on hand to announce its latest version of its Rule 4 Draft Tool. The Rule 4 Draft Application is built to streamline the draft selection process for MLB clubs. It gives clubs the ability to group, track, rank and manage signing bonuses in real time for the months leading up to, and on the day of, the Rule 4 Draft in July.
